On 19 January 2026, the fourth coordination meeting of the Erasmus+ SINCERE project was held online, bringing together partner institutions to advance the establishment and formalization of Academic Integrity Task Forces in higher education institutions across Albania and Kosovo.
As one of the eight partner institutions in the consortium, the “Eqrem Çabej” University of Gjirokastër plays a leading role in shaping and operationalizing these structures.
Within this framework, the University oversaw the monitoring, supervision, and evaluation of procedures implemented by partner institutions, while also coordinating the preparation of a key document formalizing academic integrity structures in five higher education institutions in the Western Balkans.
This work was supported by the institutional Task Force established at the “Eqrem Çabej” University, whose members actively contributed to the collection, review, and harmonization of official documentation, ensuring that project objectives were met on time and in line with agreed standards.
Through its continued engagement in international projects, the Eqrem Çabej University of Gjirokastër reaffirms its commitment to strengthening academic integrity, enhancing academic standards, and fostering regional cooperation.
